Fruity Mint Tea
Yield: Makes about 2 quarts
Ingredients
- 1 quart water
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
- 8 regular-size tea bags
- 1 (6-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 2 cups cold water
Preparation
Heat 1 quart water and 1 cup mint leaves in a small saucepan just until water begins to boil. Remove from heat; add tea bags. Cover and steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, squeezing gently. Pour mixture through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Add concentrates and 2 cups cold water, stirring until concentrates dissolve. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Serve over ice.

This tastes like and looks like an odd colored orange juice. It doesn't look like tea at all and it tastes just like a fruit drink. I don't know where the tea part comes in because it is missing for me. I would not make this again.10/14/06
