Grilled Pork Chops with Carolina Rub Menu
This southern-style menu of grilled pork chops, barbecue beans, and coleslaw is ready in less than 45 minutes. (Serves 4)

Stove-top barbecue beans
: Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add 1/2 cup chopped onion and 1 minced garlic clove; saute 3 minutes. Stir in 1/3 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons prepared mustard, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce, 1 teaspoon chili powder, and 2 (15.5-ounce) cans drained and rinsed Great Northern beans. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

QUICK TIP
: You can purchase preshredded coleslaw mix and low-fat bottled dressing from the supermarket for a quick side dish.
