Worthy of a Special Occasion

The pineapple juice adds an extra dimension of Caribbean flavor. To serve in salt-rimmed glasses, rub a lime wedge around rims of glasses. Spread 1 teaspoon margarita or sea salt on a small plate. Place glass, rim side down, on salt; turn to coat rim.

Yield: 2 servings (serving size: 3/4 cup)

Ingredients

  • 1/2  cup  tequila
  • 3  tablespoons  triple sec
  • 6  tablespoons  fresh lime juice
  • 1/2  cup  pineapple juice
  • 2  teaspoons  sugar
  • Crushed ice
  • Lime slices (optional)

Preparation

Place first 5 ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice; shake vigorously until blended. Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
