Outstanding

The ice cream mixture may become grainy just after you stir in the malted milk powder, but that will eventually dissolve. Look for malted milk powder near nonfat dried milk in your grocery store.

Yield: 8 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup)

Ingredients

  • 4  cups  chocolate low-fat ice cream
  • 1  cup  chocolate malted milk balls, crushed
  • 1/2  cup  chocolate malted milk powder

Preparation

Place a large bowl in freezer. Let ice cream stand at room temperature 45 minutes or until softened.

With a rubber spatula or stand mixer, combine softened ice cream, milk balls, and milk powder in chilled bowl. Cover; freeze to desired consistency.
