Be sure to use firm pears. I tried both goat and feta cheese; both were outstanding. Very elegant yet so easy to make. Definitely a "keeper" recipe!01/11/10

This was very good and easy to make. I used feta cheese because I couldn't find goat cheese and it was a good substitution, seemed to have more flavor. I only added a small drizzle of honey because I was worried it would be too much, but I would definately add more next time.12/18/09
