Milk Punch

This old-fashioned drink is reminiscent of decadent egg custard. You can easily double or triple the speedy recipe to serve a bigger crowd.
Yield: 12 servings
Ingredients
- 8 cups 98% fat-free vanilla ice cream
- 3/4 cup bourbon
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 4 teaspoons bittersweet chocolate, grated
Preparation
Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender; process just until smooth. Pour 1/2 cup ice cream mixture into each of 12 glasses; sprinkle each serving with about 1/4 teaspoon chocolate. Serve immediately.

This is a wonderful drink. I am not sure my grandmother ever made such a drink, she did make one without alcohol. Will make this again, maybe at Christmas. I am going to try adding some Lady Godiva Chocolate liquer next time. This will be served along with a few appetizers and on Christmas Eve while wrapping the last of the gifts. For a different taste use some egg nog ice cream for half the ice cream. Yummy! Drink responsibly!!!12/06/09
