Make this dip ahead, and serve it on whole wheat crackers or toasted baguette.

Yield: 12 servings (serving size: 2 tablespoons)

Ingredients

  • 1  (8-ounce) tub light cream cheese
  • 2  tablespoons  chopped fresh dill
  • 1  tablespoon  fresh lemon juice
  • 4  ounces  smoked salmon, chopped, divided
  • Dill sprigs (optional)

Preparation

1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a food processor. Add half of salmon; process until smooth. Fold in remaining half of salmon. Garnish with dill sprigs, if desired.

Thought the dip turned out just ok. After making it I thought it was missing something, so I added some capers. Wasn't really a good "dipping" dip. It is better if you pipe it on some crackers and serve it that way. Will not make it again.09/08/09
