No-Stick Grilling Marinade
This recipe goes with Key Lime Grilled Shrimp
Yield: Makes about 1/2 cup
Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
Preparation
Place first 3 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. With blender on, add oils in a slow, steady stream until blended. Add seasoned salt and remaining ingredients; process until smooth. Cover and store in refrigerator.
