Thick and fruity, this shake is a simple, quick breakfast ideal for fast-paced yet health-minded Los Angeles residents, or anyone looking to eat and get out the door in a hurry.

Yield: 1 serving (serving size: 1 1/4 cups)

Ingredients

  • 1  cup  plain fat-free yogurt
  • 1/3  cup  fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed
  • 2  teaspoons  light-colored agave nectar
  • 1  chilled sliced ripe banana

Preparation

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth.

This is such a rich and creamy smoothie! I just love it! I've found that fat-free vanilla yogurt adds a nice flavor to it! It makes a ton too!11/23/09
