Sesame-Roasted Asparagus
Try this easy side dish with Barbecue Roasted Salmon.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 9 asparagus spears)
Ingredients
- 36 asparagus spears
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 450°.
Snap off tough ends of the asparagus spears. Combine asparagus and the remaining ingredients in a jelly-roll pan, turning asparagus to coat.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes or until the asparagus is crisp-tender; turn once.
