This recipe goes with Autumn Vegetable Cobbler
Yield: Makes 6 cornbread rounds
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornbread mix
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons honey
Preparation
Combine first 5 ingredients; cut in butter with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Stir together buttermilk and honey; stir into flour mixture.
