This recipe took a long time to prepare, but was fully worth it. It already won 1st place at a family reunion, and was a smash with 50 guests at a 30th birthday party. This is a make-and-eat-within-a-day recipe or the lettuce becomes wilted. I would recommend doubling the recipe for 8 or more people, or if you want it to look full as it does in the picture. When I couldn't find roasted garlic dressing, I used creamy garlic ranch dressing. Print out a couple extra recipes...you'll be asked for it for sure!03/02/04
