Yield: 11 cups
Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 to 3 teaspoons caraway or celery seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 small head cabbage, shredded (15 cups)
- 1/2 medium-size green bell pepper, diced
- 3 tablespoons minced purple onion
Preparation
Stir together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; add cabbage, bell pepper, and onion, tossing well. Chill 8 hours, if desired.
