Easy Roasted Oysters
Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients
- A sheet of tin cut 1 inch smaller than the size of the grill
- About 5 dozen oysters
- A double thickness of burlap (large enough to cover oysters)
- A spray bottle (to mist burlap)
- Kane Island Cocktail Sauce
- Melted butter
- Hot sauce
- Saltine crackers
Preparation
Place tin on grill over a hot fire. Arrange oysters in the shell on the sheet of tin, cover with burlap, mist burlap with water, and cook 7 to 9 minutes.
Uncover oysters, and remove from grill with long-handled tongs. Open and serve with Kane Island Cocktail Sauce, melted butter, hot sauce, and saltine crackers.
