Hibiscus Tea Punch
Yield: Makes about 8 cups
Ingredients
- 4 cups boiling water
- 8 Red Zinger or hibiscus tea bags
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 (25.4-ounce) bottle sparkling apple cider, chilled
- Garnish: lemon wedges
Preparation
Pour 4 cups boiling water over tea bags. Cover; steep 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Chill until ready to serve. Stir in sparkling cider, and serve over ice. Garnish, if desired.

I have made this for a gathering at our home and must say it was a a big hit with everyone, including the kids. Not to sweet just right and refreshing. This is a keeper for those hot summer days.06/21/09
