My family enjoys this recipe. We've made it for my son's preschool...omitting nuts...and given out little cups to each child and they loved it dry or with milk. At home we make this before a family vacation. We take it along and it makes a great breakfast every morning...there's plenty and you just add milk!07/01/08

I thought this was good. Nice and hearty. I tried this 3 diffferent ways: pouring the milk on when I was ready to eat; soaking it overnight; and soaking it overnight and then heating it. I liked it the first 2 ways, but when heated I think it gets too sweet. I did decrease the amount of dates and figs in it. I only used what the packages specified as 1 serving and I thought there was still plenty in it since they are both so sweet. I'll probably make this again at some point but I have other recipes to try out first.02/12/07
