Outstanding

Fresh orange juice is a great substitute for blood orange juice in this recipe. Garnish with a lime twist, if desired.

Yield: 12 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup)

Ingredients

  • 2  cups  pomegranate juice
  • 1 1/2  cups  vodka
  • 1  cup  grenadine
  • 1  cup  fresh blood orange juice (about 2 oranges)
  • 1/2  cup  fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher. Serve over ice.

OH MY.. THIS IS EXCELLENT. IT WAS A BIG HIT AT MY COCKTAIL PARTY. I WAS SKEPTICAL BECAUSE OF ALL THE GRENIDINE BUT THE LIME JUICE AND THE ORANGE JUICE MADE IT JUST TART ENOUGH. I WAS ALSO UNABLE TO FIND THE BLOOD ORANGE JUICE OR BLOOD ORANGES SO I SQUEEZES CARA CARA ORANGES AND IT WAS VERY TASTY!12/19/07
