This is scrumptious and easy. I left out the pears and used just apples--specifically some pippins from a local vintage apple festival-- mixed all the topping ingredients in the food processor, and served it with Bryer's Light vanilla bean ice cream. With the help of an apple peeler/corer/slicer doohickey, my kids and I were able to throw this together while supper was cooking, bake it while we ate, and have this for dessert. We think it's the best tasting apple crisp/crumble we've tried. 11/08/05

This is the best crisp I've made yet! My husband loved it, too. Served it with low-fat vanilla ice cream. Will definitely make this again. The spices make it especially nice for a fall/winter dessert. 11/03/05

I forgot to add the molasses to this when I made it and I think it was still very tasty! Would definitely make it again. 04/07/04

This is my favorite apple crisp recipe. I have always had great responces to it when I make it and it is great hot with the vanilla ice cream on top. 01/15/04
