Pretty good recipe. I liked using canola oil in place of butter. I liked using one whole egg and one egg white. I did make one substitution and one addition. In place of the flour, I used Hodgson Mill's 50/50 flour blend of whole wheat and white. And I added 30grams of finely chopped walnuts. I liked the texture, it was much better today than it was right out of the oven. But it was a little too sweet for me. I will use this recipe again, but will make it my own with some tweaking. 06/29/09

Thought this was just okay. It seemed to be missing something. There are so many great banana bread recipes out there...probably won't make again. 06/24/09

Easy and quick and tastes great. Prefer a healthier recipe that is quick. Used 1/3 cup oats in place of flour and added walnuts. Came out great! Is a bit on the sweet side for me-will use less sugar next time. 01/29/07

Very easy recipe. Great for people who have dairy and nut restrictions in their diet. to spice this recipe up a little, add a dash of cinnamon. This would be a great recipe for kids to help make! 10/19/06

This is a great recipe and I've made it over and over again. Very simple, ingredients that are usually on hand. Not soggy in the middle. We've used it to make french toast in the morning - yum! 10/08/05

I like this because of the true banana flavor--no additional spices. 07/26/04

This banana bread was the best I've ever made! It was moist and full of flavor. I used three bananas and I added about 3/4 cup of mini chocolate chips...delicious! 06/25/04

I thought this was a good basic banana bread. I used the egg white rather than the egg substitute. I also added a handful of chocolate chips and chopped pecans. It was a simple, easy to follow recipe that took only a few minutes to prepare. 02/10/04
